Nakshatra — meaning constellation — is an Indian dance group rooted in the USA. Every dancer carries the light of a star; the stage is the night sky.
The Vision
Nakshatra was founded with a singular vision: to make semi-classical dance accessible, expressive, and deeply meaningful. Drawing from traditions of Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, and contemporary movement, our curriculum is both rooted in technique and open to artistic experimentation.
